| Little Rascals Ranch is a small family owned ranch. As avid horse lovers, we have all grown up around horses. We have owned full size horses until 2002. In 2003, we purchased our first mini. He is a beautiful line back dun gelding aptly named Royal Oaks Dun Deal. His previous owner had trained him to pull a cart. Having owned full sized horses until now, this cart pulling (driving) was going to be a new experience for us all. After purchasing this wonderful little gelding and a cart with all the fixin's, away we go on this new adventure. Our first task was to figure out this harness, with all the straps, buckles, etc. (As a horseback rider, not a cart driver), this task seemed to be overwhelming, so we turned to the internet and to our surprise,we found a full illustration on how to actually put this harness (with all the straps and buckles, etc.) on correctly and off we went. Dun Deal, nicknamed Dunnie, was so much fun and so patient with us all while we were learning, that we couldn't wait to purchase our next mini. The rest, as they say is history...... Now we are up to 5 minis and one more on the way. These wonderful little horses are like potato chips, you just can't have ONE. |
